It’s been a fun week or so around the office as we get ready for RSA.
First we got to share that we’ve been selected as one of the 10 finalists for the RSA Innovation Sandbox. The Sandbox is a competition to select the most innovative startup at RSA–and it’s open to the public, so you can come and watch. A representative from each finalist will give a three-minute pitch, followed by three minutes of Q&A from the judging panel. Swing by The Viewing Point in the Gateway Ballroom at Moscone South between 1:30 and 1:45pm on Monday to catch Skyport (we’re technically on at 1:50). The results will be announced at 4:20.
We’ve also been working with Microsoft-focused professional services firm, Ascent Solutions, to make it easier to secure Active Directory credentials. Microsoft recently published new guidelines for doing so, which are helpfully specific. Some have also commented that the guidelines can also be a bit overwhelming in their comprehensiveness. So we got together with Ascent to create consumable packages for building secure Active Directory environments based on verified clean-source platforms using SkySecure. Doug Gourlay talked a bit about why that’s so important at a recent conference.
You can learn more about what we’re doing with Ascent Solutions here, but if you’ll be at RSA, there’s a better way to do it. Come by our booth (#N3445) and take a look at how it works. Some of the Ascent pros will be there too, so it’s an opportunity to have a complete conversation about how to approach securing your Active Directory credentials.
Finally, if you’d like to arrange a private conversation, just let us know and we’ll make it happen.
See you at RSA.
